Dr. Conry's research interests are in the areas of distributed artificial intelligence and parallel and distributed systems. Topics of interest in distributed artificial intelligence include coordination problems in problem-solving environments involving multiple intelligent agents. Current research is focused on problems in distributed planning and distributed knowledge-based management. Of particular interest are problems which involve planning subject to time constraints. She is also concerned with developing a theory of rational actions by an intelligent agent.
